Saturday night we went to celebrate Jay Bailey’s birthday. He and his fiancee Erin have recently moved into a house in Ashland. We had a good time, ate some cake, and got to see Dennis, Felix, Jodi and other semi familiar faces. Their house is very cool, I like the colors they’ve painted it. They showed us a home video of their home-improvement projects.

I am sick. A cold has been sneaking up on me for days, and took hold yesterday. I blame the frequent changes in weather, and a new office policy that makes people use vacation when they want to take a sick day. Of course they give us more vacation time to cover for it, but its the principle of the issue. I’m not wasting a potential vacation day just to be sick…. and of course i went to work today to give back the germs that were so generously donated to me.
Kate’s been taking good care of me.

In an effort to be a little more like Dennis, I’ve purchased an Apple iBook laptop. I was lucky to receive CompUSA gift certificates for my birthday, and put them towards this machine.
This computer is super-sweet.

It’s snowing out tonight, which means another awesome ride to work tomorrow.
