Today I was listening to the radio in the shower trying to find WKNC, which is NC State’s student run station, but without a digital reading of what station you are on, you have to listen to a few stations to orient yourself on the dial. So I stopped on a station and they started playing that Ace of Base song, The Sign. I used to feel pretty neutral about this song, but as I listened I found myself getting really mad and I realized why.
It was the first song that played when WBRU pretended to go off the air back on April 1st. Yes I fell for it. Of course I knew that it could be an April Fools joke, but it seemed like something much to serious to joke about… and well Dicky Barrett sounded so sad…
But anyway, I was just realizing how wbru scarred me for life and I though I should share that with the blogosphere.
