I think I’m just now feeling caught up from last weekend. You can see some of the close-to-200 photos from my sister’s wedding here. The ceremony and reception were great.
Digital camera’s are completely sweet. Sometimes I forget about the amount of time involved with the whole film process… trying to make sure each shot was perfect (so as not to waste film), the sound of a 35 mm camera rewinding it’s film at a social event, and going with mom to the Fotomat hut. Of course, now I spend an inordinate amount of time backing up .jpg files.
Be sure to check out Kate’s mom’s website as well, she’s a photo-posting-fool.
Today I got up after Kate did, made some breakfast and read the paper while Kate surfed potential registry websites (besides grandfather-to-be favorite H-D.com). Right now Kate is checking out the real estate listing for the house next door to us which just went on the market.
I should be doing freelance work now… but the allure of Saturday morning laziness is strong.
My little disc camera was quite the rage! And it took fantastic photos.(I still have it, even though you can no longer get the disc film) We were very friendly with the fotohut lady in Milford, we went their weekly. You and KGD were such cute, photogenic kids. (still are)
I don’t imagine uncle John would have take 400 35mm shots if they had to be developed.
Kim may tease Grammie Cass about sending less than perfect shots, but I am right there with her.
I imagine you’ll be sending some images on Oct 24th? A great date, Grandmother Grace Whelan’s bday.
xxoo
Saturday mornings are all about laziness. :)
Though, now, most Saturdays I try to get to the gym for the aerobic class at 8:30 AM. After that class I’m REALLY lazy!
I don’t understand the bit about getting energy for the day from an early work out. I want that energy! When will it happen?
