Pat and I just bought Halloween candy. I don’t know what I was thinking. Those Twix are never gonna make it ten days. They are lucky if they survive the night. Which is why my Mom always brought the Halloween candy home with her on Halloween night instead of leaving it in the house. I can’t be trusted.
Totally unrelated, I gave the cats a shower this afternoon and they have already forgiven me. I have one sitting on each side of me while I type this. Twix and clean cuddly cats, what a nice night.

Did you give the kitties a shower together? I can’t imagine you getting the 2nd one in the tub if the 1st one squealed!
You can buy one bag of great candy and several bags of the less tempting variety. Or, like your mom, wait until the last possible moment!
Do they still show the Garfield Halloween Cartoon? The one where he yearns for “candy, candy, candy”?

Kate, it wasn’t just YOU that couldn’t be trusted with the Halloween candy! I’ll eat anything sugar! (or at least I did back then…all the way from milkyways to sweet tarts! LOL)
