Nesting

Well not me, but the birds!

Last year we had birds move into our entryway and we felt too guilty to evict them. But well apparently birds are not litter box trained and things got kind of gross. We decided this year we would put something up into the space so that the birds would not have room to move back in. Well the birds beat us to it. And then not only did they make a nest, they decorated it with cute little fake flowers. What kind of heartless person could destroy such a beautiful little home?

But then it was really windy and nature took care of the issue for us. They apparently didn’t anchor their home very well and the wind must have knocked it down into the flower bed.

I am assuming they found the fake flowers across the street at the house that (to put it politely) has heavily decorated the outside of their house and yard. The birds do seem to have good taste though. Subtle.
