TedWatch 2008

Time is just flying right by.  I can’t believe Easter is already over.  I have been home on TedWatch 2008 for a week and a half now.  Unbelievable.  Feels like maybe a weekend went by.  My due dates are coming up Friday, Sunday, and next Wednesday.  According to my doctor I am two to three centimeters dilated.  Which is crazy.  I am holding out for April, but really he could be born any day.

Most of our pre-baby to-do list has been accomplished.  Pat is going to bring my car to get the child safety seat inspected today.  It seemed like everyone told us that was the thing to do.  Then when we tried to find a place to do the inspection, no one would.  So strange.  There are only two places in the Triangle that do them.  The Morrisville Fire Station and Rex hospital.  So Pat is going to head up to Morrisville after work.  Morrisville is actually the town the airport is in, which is in between Raleigh and  Durham.

Other than that I still have some general house organizing and cleaning left to do, but nothing major.  I have been hoping for that infamous nesting spurt of energy, but no sign of it yet.  So I am taking things slow, while the time flies by.

Oh and just to make New Englanders jealous- our weather is supposed to be in the mid to high seventies this week.

  1. TedWatch 2008 totally needs a theme song, like CNN plays before a presidential debate or some celebrity rehab sighting.

  2. It could be the stopwatch ticking for “60 minutes”!
We NewEnglanders are suitably jealous, as it snowed last night and may again this weekend.
Hope the safety seat check goes well! Want to keep him safer than the over the front seat job (the one with the built in steering wheel, complete with red button horn) that Harleymaster rode in as a child. Nana D reports they’d hear the horn when he would fall asleep, fall forward and bonk his head.
love ally’all and hope the time flies until Ted’s birthday.

  3. The theme from “Jeopardy” would fit the bill

  4. Theme from Jeopardy!?

That means there’s only 30 seconds left!

  5. Well the installation thing is a liability thing.
In VT when Peter worked at Honda they took a
class to do it. But even there I don’t believe they are allowed to do it anymore. Here at Land Rover they are not
allowed to touch a car seat because if something
happened and car seat wasn’t right they can be
held liable. You would think police or fire
would inspect it though wouldn’t you?
