Ted is One Month Old

Ted showed up a month ago on an otherwise rainy, unassuming Sunday morning and sort of totally changed our lives. Every day since then has been an adventure, and its been great. And intense. Mostly great.

Ted is a big fan of this blue elephant, thanks in part to a play date initiated by Auntie Kristen.  He makes little noises at it and tries to grab at it, in as much as a one month old can grab at an object.  I’m quite sure he’s right on the cusp of being able to grab it and throw it out of his range of vision, and then start crying because he can’t see it anymore.

He’s already outgrown clothes!  Well not all clothes, but some of his newborn clothes are just too small.  We stopped by the pediatrician’s today for a little belly button checkup, and he’s already over 9lbs!
