Ted Meets Former President Carter

Today Ted and I headed to Walmart to go to Former President Jimmy Carter’s book signing.

Unfortunately all my photos are blurry.  Apparently you can’t sign 400 books in a half hour if you let people dawdle around and take photos.

I did get to speak to him as he signed our book, even though they rushed us by.

Jimmy Carter: Hello, What’s your baby’s name?

Me: Ted! Well, Edward Barrett (insert last name here).

(I almost forgot we are keeping our last name off the website.)

I also didn’t think to ask the friends we made in line to take a photo of us, so I took some in the parking lot.

So far I have read Ted the first chapter.  I am not quite sure what his expression is saying though…

What a coincidence… As soon as I got home from work today, Ted tried to sell me an autographed first edition copy of Jimmy Carter’s latest book. I knew something was up.

Wow! That is cool. Jimmy Carter just seems like a really good human being to me.

Baby only has 5 more posts to overtake the cats!

I think he gets cuter by the post! :)

A good first president for Ted to meet. Kind heart, gentle man.
Not sure I would have set him up in front of the family restroom. I do think the secret service guys should co-ordinate their ties!
You and Ted look so healthy and happy and content/peaceful. ahhh, life is good.
    love all~y’all
    xxxooo

I think Ted is going to be the master of facial expression! Perhaps he is the actor of his generation. :)
