Ted is just one week away from being a half-a-year old! Crazy! He is getting really good at sitting up on his own. He will do it for long stretches… when he feels like it of course. He is also good at rolling over, but only from his back to his belly not the other way. And only when he feels like it…
He is also loving his exersaucer and I now have all the toys attached and he spins himself around to play with them all. He also holds his sippy cup and tries to drink out of it, though we haven’t actually put anything in there for him yet. We are planning to wait till he is six months and we are back home, before we start him on solids. Ted and I will be in RI when he turns six months. I keep thinking -hey maybe we should start the solids now- but I think we will stick with the original plan. He is definitely not starving.
Yesterday we went to two festivals. I volunteered at the local Harvest Festival selling t-shirts to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation with my Moms group while Pat and Ted checked out the very cool car show there. Then that night we went to groundSpark in Raleigh and checked out the chalk drawings.
Ted look good sitting next to that GT40..of course, he would look good sitting next to a Pacer, too. He looks thoughtful there, as if he were doing a car review.. just like his dad!
It looks like Ted had a good (if occasionally sleepy) time at the arts festivals! Its hard to believe he is almost 6 months old! We can’t wait to see you when you come up!

Look at that big boy sitting in a highchair with a cup! Empty, but with a cup! Milestones and chapters, ah, life is good.
