Ted is officially rolling over now. He has done it a bunch of times, though only when he really wants something and it is just out of his reach. The latest noise he is working on is “s.” He is still blowing us raspberries. So cute. And he has such a great sense of humor. He laughs a lot, especially at his dad.
Also he is really developing his attention getting whines. He tried a week of a coughing sort of whine and now he is doing an intake of breath sort of whine. Perfecting what will be the whine he uses for years to come, I am sure. And hey, whining is better than tears.
We took him to the Clemmons Educational State Forest. The forest is only open mid-March to mid-November, is closed Mondays and only open 9-5 during the week and 11-5 during weekends. Which is crazy. Because it is a forest. Pat and I had attempted to go there a few times before, but of course it was closed. We were pretty excited to find it open this Saturday. We walked around a bit on the trails and listened to one of the talking rocks. Wish we had remembered to bring the camera, but it was kind of a spontaneous trip.
What a beautiful baby!
I agree with Grammie Cass, a stunningly beautiful combination of Kate and Patrick. And wicked schmaaaaht and talented. Good genes!
