Twenty-eighth Weekiversary

This week Ted started solids!  His first food is rice cereal.  He was pretty excited the first time we gave it to him, but now he just gives us a look like, – really? this stuff again?  I know this isn’t what you are eating.  He still eats it, and much more of it than I thought he would, but he is definitely not very excited about it.  Next up is bananas, so he should get more excited about that I would think.

And Ted and I are finally sticking to a schedule… or a routine at least.  Our routine involves going out everyday, whether it is a playgroup, the park, or Target and Ted seems to really enjoy getting out of the house and the rest of the day is much easier.  Ted eats at 9:00, sometimes this is the first meal, sometimes the second and then we leave the house.  We come back around noon when he eats again and goes down for a nap.  Then when he wakes up we play for awhile and then he eats some real food and we play a little more and then it is nap time again.  Then Dad comes home and they play for awhile and then Ted will have some more real food while Pat and I eat dinner.  Then we all go for a walk. Ted gets a bath and then eats a little more and off to the crib.
