Thirty-fifth and Thirty-sixth Weekiversaries

Just this weekend Ted started scooting backwards on the floor.  Pat and I are in trouble.  We have so much baby-proofing to do!  Right now he is still really good about sitting in one spot and playing with his toys.  I sure will miss these days.

Yesterday Pat brought home a tree for us from the State Farmer’s Market.  It is a perfect tree.  Ted seems to like it and we are enjoying that he is too young to get into trouble with it.

Ted’s newest foods are potato, carrots, apricot, cantaloupe, avocado, and rice cakes.  Tonight was the first time we gave him a rice cake.  He was so cute.  He really enjoyed it and ate every last bite.  I had to watch him pretty closely because every once in awhile he would take a huge bite and would need some assistance.

  1. great photos! He’s looking less baby-like and more toddler-ish. Mobility is a gift and a curse (for parents). Go Ted, go!

  2. great update! Nice hotwheels shirt :-) I thought it was going to be way to big! He really will have a need for speed, especially once he figures out “forward”…

  3. Whooboy! He’ll be crawling by Christmas. We will ALL have to watch out!
