… Give or take a few days.
Ten months old! Double-digit months! He won’t reach tripple-digit months until he’s eight!
The photo below shows Ted doing his Army-style crawl accross our floor, a new skill that has given him mobility and his parents a new sense of urgency for baby-proofing our house. This kid is crazy-fast. He’s our little mobile Baby Bugatti now.
Like Kate mentioned in the last post, Ted’s food variety continues to broaden, and this month saw him eating much more food then in the past. I think he realizes that we either aren’t trying to poison him, or that there’s a connection between tummy grumblings and not eating. Or maybe his body is just telling him he needs more fuel if he’s going to speed-crawl around the house. Where he once might eat half a jar of food and a few Cheerios, he now scarfts down the full jar, a rice cake, half a jar of something else and maybe some fruit or Cheerios. Exciting!
This past month saw his Aunt Christine flying down to visit him, and then we said what the heck and flew up there to see her (and just about everyone else we know). More about that in a a later post, though. He’s a well traveled baby, though, that’s for sure.
This photo below shows Ted and I reading about bonuses paid to bail-out fund-recipient Wall Street executives. Ted was not happy. He is verty sensitive to corporate greed.
But unlike the photo above, Ted is mostly a happy baby. He still loves to laugh. He hooks me up with a huge smile every day when I come home from work, and that’s about the most awesome thing in the entire universe.
Happy 10 months, little guy.
That 100 watt smile is to die for!
So good to have you in NE for a visit. Hurry back.
Where did those ten months go?? Amazing little person, happy and mobile and an eating machine. With a full on belly laugh. Ah, life is good. xxoo
