We had a visitor last week from Forks of Ivy. Aunt Deirdre drove near clear across the state to visit us, dodging treacherous rock slides along the way.
We went to downtown Raleigh, Trader Joe’s, and Hemlock Bluffs state park for a hike. She treated us to supper at The Remedy Diner in downtown Raleigh, which was very tasty. Lots of fun!
Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, enjoying the free wifi now offered.
Ted’s first walking-almost-the-whole-way hike, over a mile!
Leaves – the fascination is real.

Hiking, nature study, playground climbing… sounds like a scout in the making! Lovely pics of you all. xxoo
Looks like it was great visit! That’s a long hike for little legs! Love it!
