Ted had almost a dozen of his playgroup friends (and their moms) over for a 2nd birthday celebration today.
Part of any quality birthday party is a good cake, so he blew out some candles on a construction equipment themed one. He was quite ready to get his hands on the toys pushing the frosting around.

The cake, courtesy of the local supermarket. I thought afterwards that the dirt should really have been more red to reflect the local North Carolina clay-dirt we have, but then thought it might make for a weird looking cake.
